Arthur Morris just won the 2022 World Series of Poker Circuit Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event
With 63 in-the-money finishes, strong showings in World Poker Tour championships, and final-table appearances in World Series of Poker bracelet events, Arthur Morris enjoyed a lot of success in his poker career. But he has never won a tournament championship.
This week, Morris broke his losing streak when he overcame 646 rivals to win the WSOPC Hard Rock Tulsa $1,700 no-limit hold’em championship. He received his first gold ring and a career-high salary of $182,379 for this triumph.
When Morris won the WSOP, he told reporters, “It has taken a while to happen. Considering I’ve been playing for 17 years, it feels great.” He continued by explaining how his tactics contributed to his triumph.

Morris received 840 Card Player Player of the Year points for winning in addition to the prize money and the title. His first POY-qualified performance of the year came in May when he finished eighth in the WPT Choctaw main event, earning $61,000.
